In my eyes, a story told through the pages of a book and the same story envisioned through the scenes of a movie provides two distinguishable experiences. A movie is a visual extravaganza while a book is a descriptive wonderland; and so I usually find myself searching for the book after seeing a good movie adaptation. The book experience tends to gift me with more depth and information because they are not as restricted by time and the use of inner dialogue as the movies are. So I highly encourage those who are not familiar with the feeling of paper between their fingers to start reading soon because they’re definitely missing out on the ‘extras’ found only in the books!:]
